What is the “N-EB series”?

An electronic breaker is a product developed to significantly reduce the basic charge for low-voltage electricity.

The “N-EB series” has passed the compatibility test by JET (Japan Electrical Safety and Environment Laboratory), a registered inspection organization, and is a safe breaker that complies with the safety standards stipulated by law.

Based on many years of sales performance, some electric power companies have accepted applications for contract changes by omitting or simplifying conformity inspections and by registering for approval of the “N-EB series”.

1.Difference between load equipment contract and main breaker contract

There are two methods of calculating the power capacity between the power company and the customer.

One is a method of calculating from the total output capacity of the equipment placed at the customer’s site.

The other method is to use the capacity of the main switch (the ampere size of the breaker installed at the base).

1.Explanation of the system

Our sales person will visit your factory at the time you made an appointment. We will explain everything from the structure of the electricity bill, why it is cheaper, and the procedure for introducing the “N-EB series”. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

2.measurement survey

If you can understand the explanation of the system, we will actually investigate the operation status of the customer. In order to propose the best plan for each customer, we will actually move the machine and check the work process.
This is a very important survey for the introduction of the “N-EB series”, so we ask for your cooperation.

3.Proposal of reduction plan / Approval

Based on the results of the measurement survey, we will determine the optimum capacity for the customer and propose a reduction plan for the customer. This will reduce the fixed cost of the basic charge, so we can present a reduction amount that is accurate in units of 1 yen. If you are satisfied with the contents of the proposal, we will apply.

4.Application to power company / Confirmation of reduction

Since the contract with the power company will be changed, we will apply to the power company for a change to the main switch contract. All procedures related to the application will be handled by our company. After the application has been accepted by the electric power company, the customer can confirm with the electric power company that the basic charge has been changed.

5.Reduction confirmation, installation work, trial operation

You can see the results as suggested.

If the reduction amount is different from the proposed amount, the application will be withdrawn.

After accepting the application to change the electric power company, we will visit you for the installation work of the “N-EB series”. As this is an electrical work, there will be a power outage for about 15 to 20 minutes during wiring. After the installation is complete, we always conduct a test run in the presence of the customer to confirm that normal operation is possible without any problems even if the contracted capacity is lowered.

6.Conclusion of contract

After confirming that the basic charge will be reduced as proposed by the customer and confirming that the “N-EB series” will not fall, the contract will be concluded.

7.Confirmation/inspection of electric power company

After the installation of the NEO Control System “N-EB Series” is completed, confirmation and inspection will be carried out by the electric power company, but many electric power companies will apply changes to the basic charge on a daily basis from the date of installation completion.
Please note that the reduction may not be as proposed at the time of billing for the first month, depending on the date of installation and the date of meter reading.

Q.Is there any illegality?
A. There is no illegality. In order to introduce the N-EB series, application approval for all electric power companies and aptitude test and confirmation of the N-EB series are required. In addition, in order to remove the basic power charge, we have applied for a breaker contract as stipulated by the electric power company, so it is possible to legally reduce the basic charge for customers.
Q. Does it interfere with your work?
A. We do not install them for customers who may cause problems. Therefore, when our sales representative visits in advance, we will measure the current value and provide the optimum breaker size. In addition, we have a test run by a qualified person after installation to confirm that it can be used without hindrance to work.
Q.Is there a fee?
A. There is no initial cost for the customer. No new capital investment is required when introducing the N-EB series. It will be a success reward system where a part of the basic fee has been reduced as a system fee.
Q. Is there any connection with the electric power company?
A. Not at all. We are a company that acts as an application agent for the electric power company, and will be the kind of company that will help customers reduce their basic charges.

Q. Do you charge a survey fee?
A. Survey fee is free. Since some customers are unable to reduce the basic charge, the survey fee is free.
Q. I use a leasing company. What happens after the contract period ends?

A. It will be a re-lease, not a purchase. However, it is necessary to replace the board at the recommended replacement time.
The re-lease fee varies depending on the leasing company you applied for, so please check with your sales representative.
